how bad is dtd going to be this year?
by: ConfusedSo I keep hearing that they had something happen at the end of last year, and have been put on probation or something because of it. What exactly is their punishment and should I avoid them during rush this year?

Honestly, just avoid them this year and next. They aren't getting kicked off (unless something else happens, they are on a short leash), but they aren't going to be able to do anything socially.
Unless you have family or friends in the house just go somewhere else or don't rush, either option is better.

Coming from someone who knows, I would say 100% do not rush delts. All the reasons have been covered by everybody else but I'd say if you're looking for a house that's like what DTD was--good grades, leaders, blah blah blah--look at sigma chi and maybe lambda. DTD was always kinda similar to sigma chi in my opinion and you'll have a way better college experience as a sig chi than as a delt at this point. Same for lambda but I personally like sig chi better.

One more friendly reminder that the anonymous folks on the gossip website can't tell you which group of people to align yourself with for the rest of your life. We don't know you. My ex-boyfriend's fraternity might be a great fit for you, but if you asked I'd tell you they're all jerks. The bias is real. Be a big kid and do your research (hint: not on this website).

Agreed particularly on sigma chi. The whole "leaders" thing is garbage anyway but if your into that go sigma chi. Hell even sigma pi would be better at this point. DTD might beat the houses without physical houses, but that's about it now.
Who knows even FIJI might get a better class than delts this year, just avoid them kids.
