how difficult is it to get into a sorority?

At first it will seem really overwhelming at the amount of girls rushing. But throughout the process of recruitment a lot of girls will drop out because they either discover that greek life isn't for them or they didn't get asked back to any of the houses they wanted. So if you keep an open mind and be yourself you shouldn't have a problem getting a bid! I personally only know of 2 girls who did not get a bid.

A lot of time PNMs view rush like going out for a team that only has so many spots, but remember that is not how it works. Quota - the number of new members that each chapter takes - is based off of how many pnms are left on pref night. Therefore more PNMs = bigger pledge classes all around. Absolutely agree with the poster above, the key is to keep an open mind. If you maintain a positive attitude and recognize that each chapter has great qualities - and at UO they really do - then you're unlikely to have a problem. The only things that should really caution PNMs are poor grades. Good luck on finding a home!
