I thought the whole point, regardless of which house you get, is to meet new people etc. how does someone rude enough to not introduce themselves not get flagged by their rush counselor etc for correction or to be dropped?

WHY would a PNM WANT to be an APhi? Nationally they have a terrible reputation and the direction from National to only choose a certain look is embarrassing. They don’t have the National clout of Pi Phi, Theta, Tri-Delt, Kappa as the usual top tier sororities.

Aphi has one of, if not the largest, Nationals in the country and they are in the top for popularity at probably more schools than any other sorority (this is a guess on my part, someone feel free to fact check me. However, if you use this website as your evidence, I will laugh at you) and their chapters don’t seem to have been affected much at all by the recruiting thing in Michigan. They are still an extremely popular house at UM and MSU.

Also, the idea that the average freshman girl who comes through recruitment cares one bit about Nationals is laughable. Most girls don’t even get involved with Nationals after school is over. Also, I’m in one of the houses you mentioned as being so much better nationally and even I would love to know about this supposed clout we have.

None of this changes the fact that this is a made up story by someone trying to create drama, because it’s completely untrue. It didn’t happen and it’s really kind of silly to bother.

Not to mention that ? wants to complain about them judging pnms on looks, but I’d bet my gpa that this same person will be here once houses start posting their new members on intsta trying to rank houses based on what? Looks.
