Which fraternities don’t have a physical chapter house?

Lambda has been the consensus top fraternity at UO forever now with their brand new home they will be up there in a league of their own. To he honest Lambda is really the only selective fraternity at UO they cream the best and honestly every member of every other fraternity would have dropped their house in a mili second if they had made Lambda’s cut.

A place to hang together as cool bros doing cool things vs. rando apartments or bars. Hang pics, have secret meetings, other cool bro stuff.

Pledges clean up wayyyyy bigger messes. Plus houses have a livein requirement. You don’t get a choice. You have to live in. Then there are the showers...

If there is no house, save yoursrlf the $ - don't join a frat, just get some dope roommates. Frat only worth it if you get to live and hang with your bros 24/7.

Don't join a fraternity. Just get a group of your friends, go rent an off campus house and have all the parties you want without the rules of the administration and IHQ. Plus you will be saving yourselves $$$ in comparison to living in a chapter house and paying national fees every year like house dues, insurance, etc.

Living in a chapter house is why you join a frat. It ain't a 5 star hotel, it is a place to eat/work/play/hang with your bros, be yourself, and make great memories. Trust me - 20 years from now, these will be the stories you tell and cherish. Good times. Don't settle for anything less.

An apartment friend group is not a substitute for a real frat with a real house.

They didn’t sell it. They were leasing Beta’s house while they were kicked off. Pretty sure they bought Kappa Sig’s old house, tore it down and are building a new one in the next year or so

Lambda sold their first house to the univ. then they rented the old ATO house (now Delta Sig). Then they’ve rented the Theta Chi house and the Beta house. None of them were lost or taken away.

Lambda sold their original chapter house 30 years ago. They’ve been telling everyone they are getting a new house for decades. They are currently homeless.

They’ve not be saying anything for decades. Get over yourself. You’re just butt hurt cuz they pull big classes and keep them even without a house. Who tf cares what they do/say. Rush/don’t rush. Lambda still on me of the top groups. Sorry about your hate but facts are facts. If they sucked or had poor brotherhood they wouldn’t be able to keep over 100 guys who pay dues etc.

Only lambda is building a new house. Hopefully ready in Fall 2021. And of those lambda is the biggest with over 100 members.
