Harm Reduction needs to be more addressed

by: serious

Chapters need to address harm reduction practices for their members. Yes, many of us take substances, most of us have never tested said substances. You need to address how to minimize these risks to the younger actives and pledges, have test kits on hand, have materials from organizations like DanceSafe, talk about chemical interactions. I don't want to lose anyone here for a preventable reason.

Bumping this post. Every risk manager should be versed in HR practices also the Eugene Dance Safe chapter is really helpful!

This is so true! I don’t know how many people here remember but back in 2017 or 2018 a member of SAE passed of an overdose, not saying he had a bad dose but just having more information or materials would be crucial

This is actually pretty smart if you could get a psych or public health professor to give a presentation about this rather than some third party organization it might be easier to sell to IFC/Nationals
