Will recruitment in Fall 2020 for sure be online? That seems difficult

The Cal State system is going to be online in the fall and so will Oregon no matter what BS they are saying now. There will be no receuitment and why would you pay for it anyway just to sit at home??

lolol thats not true stop being a Debby downer Jesus -- Oregon already announced there will be school in the fall (unlike the Cal state schools) even if the classes are hybrids of in person and online, in addition, Oregon has way less cases. idk about recruitment but don't worry! don't less to anyone about recruitment except UO PHC

UO will have an open campus in the fall. (I have a student job in admin) We have the benefit of not starting until late September. Lecture halls will be used for the small classes and lecture classes will be split up or moved online. More evening classes too. We are reworking EVERY class right now, that is why the fall schedule hasn’t posted yet. Admin is working so hard to make it happen safely.

Campuses across the country won’t return to normal for at least a year. But most classes can return to campus with adjustments. The vast majority of classes at UO were already under 30 students that’s like less than my high school

Dude that has nothing to do with the school starting in the fall, literally everywhere in the west has 40% California population. UofA and ASU are opening in the fall, and guess what! they have a huge Californian population!

Dorms will be open with lower density. There are students still living in the dorms right now. Common areas will reopen with personal spacing enforced.

Recruitment can be done via Zoom just as easily as anyone’s job or class. Obviously the parties can’t happen though.
