how does rush affect friend groups

by: Freshman

Do people that get into good frats and sororities distance themselves from people who don't rush or get into good houses. What's everyone's experience with that situation.

I think it happens, but not in a mean way. It just changes your dynamic. One night, the girl who you've spent the past three weekends will have a function with a frat, and you won't be able to go. I never cared that my house was supposedly "better ranked" than one of my close friends. I still had friends from the dorms by the end of the year, but I did spend a lot more time, and almost exclusively went out with my sorority.

I see my non Greek friends all the time. If you grow apart it’s prob for other reasons. Sometimes I feel judged for being Greek like I know they think it’s stupid but we don’t talk about it we do our own things

I have friends in top tier, bottom tier and no sorority in my close group. It’s not an issue ever
