by: dudeWhich fraternities and sororities will attract good and bad pledge classes this fall based on where they stand currently?

Fiji (Phi Gam Delta) is new again but they might attract a good pledge class bc their willingnes to throw parties and that they have recently reacquired Aepis house which looks awesome but no one knows because they never throw parties in it. Heres hoping for a good pledge class to bring more parties to the house

Fact of the matter is If you don't have a house, its much harder to attract a good pledge class. Frats/Sororities can be really cool group of individuals but if they don't have a house they wont get as many pledges, its just how it works.
Would love to see this change but unfortuantely it hasnt happened yet. In the mean time, houses who dont have actual houses should just work on having raging live outs to get their name out their to incoming freshman.

Pretty much where the standings are right now will probably be where it will be at the end of rush. "tiers" don't really change overnight unless something weird happens to the house. Beta and Lambda are two examples of this. Beta had nationals swoop in, do a reorg and boot a lot of the members people liked. They dropped like a stone. Lambda on the other hand went from nothing, got theta chi's house, and boom they got 2 really good classes.
The top houses know what type of people they are looking for, and people want to be in these houses. This means they can be more picky, so the odds that they get better guys goes way up compared to other houses. Houses don't just decide to recruit people they do not like, so I don't see it changing too much.
