Typically this would only happen if you knew someone in a house (from sports, high school) that is living in the Eug over the summer. If you’re in this position, definitely doesn’t hurt to reach out. If not, don’t sweat it, summer rush isn’t really a thing at UO. Just show up to the events in the fall and you’ll be fine

As long as you’re not a super cringey person, most chapters would probably recognize that you’re proactive and already thinking about rush
