chances of not getting a bid?

I know I will not drop from rush so there is that factor
but how likely is it to get dropped from every house
I'm not super picky I just really want to make some good girl friends so any house will do

We like to say that "pretty much everyone gets a bid" but that just wasn't true last year. Many girls got dropped by all houses, and some of them were friends of mine so I know they are great girls. Just be yourself and stay positive, and whatever happens, happens! Good luck

Quota is based on the number of girls who attend preference divided by number of sororities. So 1000 girls at pref and 10 houses then quota is 100. If you had a large number drop after preference or “suicide” it lowers the number of girls assigned to chapters...so houses didn’t make quota. So quota is 100 but after preference, only 900 girls are left. Then do the math. Everyone is NOT going to make quota. The girls who got dropped from all houses earlier may have been eliminated for grades, etc and not their personalities. Bottom line is you don’t know what they put on their card that may have eliminated them or the factors they dealt with...

I totally get how quota works. I was a Rho Gamma so I know that many of the girls that got dropped altogether had good/great grades, were super sweet, did not limit themselves to certain houses, or suicide. It was awful having to make those phone calls. I was actually pretty disappointed in our system as a whole after I saw what happened.

How did that happen when most houses did not even make quota, which was already low due to fewer girls rushing?
