when are bids given out?

I know it varies from frat to frat, but after about how many events should one expect a bid or know it's time to focus on somewhere else? 2? 3?

It depends on how well they know you and wether or not they actually want to give you a bid. Some people can be signing bids after the first event if they already know a lot of the brothers, others might not get one until the end of rush (if at all), it really depends
