thoughts on new houses and rushing late

I am a sophomore and have been looking into rushing. Would it be weird/difficult if I joined an established house spring term? I was looking into Delta Zeta because it doesn't seem as weird joining that because they wouldn't be the traditional experience but I don't know how a new house would be treated on campus.

Delta Zeta is awesome and you should join them! They are going to be just like any other sorority next year, with a house girls live in. They are already having functions and other events. They are truly wonderful and you should be open to meeting them!
