what are cuts actually based on?
by: Be honestCan someone please (honestly) tell me what the chapters are looking for? I don't believe that they're looking for our "values", every single chapter who held the same values as me dropped me. Yet I see my friends, who have terrible grades and blond hair, get asked back. I really want an honest answer about what we are truly judged on. I don't think I'm going through with Greek life, just want to know the truth

There are what like 900 pnms. Each house only has 40 to around 60 ish spots. Basically every house is required to drop a certain perctenage based on their houses capacity. Every house DOES focus on their values even if it doesn't seem like it. They pick up on every thing you say and they try and picture you fitting into any of the friend groups that may be in that house, which are all different even within a chapter. Every house tells their girls if you don't absolutely love her, we have to drop because if everyone said yes to every nice girl they talked to, the houses would be recruiting 200+ sized pc's. If you get dropped PLEASE don't think it means the girl didn't like you. It just means cuts are always very tight and very tough decisions have to be made in every house.

No, I don't consider myself superficial at all. Most of the chapters I was really vibing with weren't "top tier" at all. The ones who asked me back continuously made me feel awkward and uncomfortable at every event, I was not excited to go back. didnt expect the process to be so harsh
