dg and kd status

I was looking on the chapter statuses for sororities and I'm a little confused. It says Suspended Suspension for DG and Disciplinary Probation for KD. What do these terms actually mean, and what kind of events could they actually have? I just wanted to know before recruitment starts on Wednesday- I feel like all PNMs should know.

I can only speak for KD. Yes, they can have events and yes, they are planning events for the fall term. PNMs rushing KD should feel comfortable knowing that there will be social events!!

Both made grades so they'll be fine

No one really knows whats going on with DG besides the girls actually in the house, rumors make things seem way worse than they actually are. Its still worth being in a top house and Im pretty sure they're fine now because they got third in grades last term.

A few years back XO was in worse trouble. They had to re-org and clean house. All the execs were dismissed. They've come back stronger, it's part of the process to improve Greek overall.

I think it's very naive for any PNM to commit to either of these. What do we get for our fees? What if they go into full suspension. They are one wrong misstep away. It's a gamble
