I can't believe there are parties scheduled 10/7. Why not skip Saturday? It can't be a huge deal to break for one day after leadership days. PNMs are pretty pissed

That’s just the way it works. Happened when I went through recruitment. If you can’t skip one game to go through recruitment do you really want to go Greek?

uh everyone has to miss the game? It's not like pnm's are singled out. The recruitment schedule has been on the fsl website for months so you should've planned ahead and decided which was more important to you. Also a weekend day cannot be skipped because the schedule for Saturday and Sunday requires availability all day since everyone will have different party times. PHC can't schedule those rounds on class days because then no one would be able to attend.

Obviously everyone realizes actives are missing too, no one said they weren't. The game time was just released yesterday so not sure how anyone could've made different decisions months ago. You could've just answered the question with some insight into the process instead of being rude. Bye.

Like they said, it’s pretty much common knowledge that you would miss a game for that Saturday. The game schedule was released months ago and so were the days for recruitment. You never should have expected to go to that game. None of the actives expected to go to the game. That’s all they’re saying.

Just because the date was on a website doesn't mean we expected to go 8-5! That tidbit came out at the meeting last Sunday. Never ever thought it would take a whole day. PNMs are new to this process. But hey congratulations to you actives that knew better and planned better than us, it's really helpful to point that out.

It is possible that some PNMs will still get to go to the game. With a max of 8 houses most will get around 5 and you could be done in time for the game.

To the Greeks responding here. Find a better approach please. Remember being a freshman, navigating a strange place, missing home, overwhelmed by your schedule and new professors. Have some patience and understanding for our PNMs. It's going to be a tough week! Go Ducks Go Greek!
