totally depends on what you're looking for in a house...theta is not popular among fraternities so if you are looking to have social events with top fraternities you will not stay in theta. alternatively if you care about philanthropy events and greek week type stuff then theta is a strong house. superficial things like looks and popularity are not great in this house but you're lying if you don't think those things factor into a decision. overall less girls want to be in theta than middle and top tier houses so they end up with less desirable pnms.

This is not true and I don't care enough about your comment to be offended...i do care about fairness tho. Theta is a new house, pnms will enjoy helping to shape their image. As a fraternity member, I'm gonna say you have got to stop tearing down each other. Until there is an "official" rank, your comment is literally only your opinion. That you have to put down a new group talks about how threatened you are. God help delta zeta, they don't stand a chance. Of course they will have social events with any fraternity...

Oh please, sorority recruitment is not a fair system and let's be clear about something -- theta cannot claim they are new and that's why they are struggling anymore. They have had their chance to become a fully established house and they excel at certain things, like their participation in philanthropies but popularity isn't one of them. Feel free to say you aren't offended but you sound pretty butt hurt if you ask me. Pnms will care about rankings and that's why they're on here. Also, to act like there aren't rankings is ridiculous when this entire site exists for that reason. We all know the rankings and persona preference generally only plays a role in the order within tiers.
And "as a fraternity member" 😂😂😂 pleeeeeease like a frat guy is on here desperately trying to save pnms from judging theta before going through recruitment?!? gimme a break

I agree that was no frat guy posting.... Also that Theta isn't new anymore. But I disagree that PNMs care about ranks, esp once the process begins. There's lots of questions and this is really the only place to ask anon

Don't be swayed by people who want to relive high school and bring in the drama of who's cool and who isn't. Theta is a newer chapter with a new house. Don't believe previous posts about who fraternities like etc. I guarantee you that fraternities will socialize with every sorority.
