2017-2018 rankings for fall recruitment

Mostly based on social life and reputation. If grades and service are more important for you, just do a little extra research! This is coming from a senior girl who's been involved since frosh year and was on exec last year!
Sororities:
Tier 1: Alpha Phi
Tier 2: Delta Gamma, Pi Phi, Chi O
Tier 3: KKG
Tier 4: AXO, Tri Delta, KD
Tier 5: Gamma Phi, Theta
Tier 6 (still new): Sigma Kappa
Fraternities:
Tier 1: Phi Psi, SigEp, SAE
Tier 2: Lambda, Sigma Chi, FIJI, Delta Sig
Tier 3: Sigma Nu, DTD, Kappa Sigma
Tier 4: PIKE, AEPi
Tier 5: DU, Chi Psi, ATO, Theta Chi
Make sure to check out as many houses as you can! This is the most accurate rankings right now, but tier doesn't mean everything. Have fun this fall!

Obviously beta is not what they used to be since they can't rush new members (openly). But the fact that they still have seniors, juniors, and a small sophomore class will make them a social force on campus, but nothing else really. That along with keeping their house is a huge plus.
Should they be on this ranking? Probably not because they aren't technically a fraternity, but to say they're gone is just ignorant.

lol what? tier's are just to show where everyone is compared to eachother. adding more tiers just helps seperate them more. aphi is clear top house so they should be up there alone

Yes it real. She was in their house last year and then when the first video came out they split ways. Her social media still says UO though so maybe she still around

Lamda and Delta Sig could both be moved down 1 tier realistically but I'd say the list is Fine as is

Are you a girl or boy? Regardless you shouldn't worry about tier and just see which house is the best fit for you! By the time you're a senior you'll be thanking yourself and realize fit is what it's all about

KKG primed to move up into top tier, KD was doing well until they got on probe so that's pretty derailed

KD is not on social probation, they are on Disciplinary Probation which likely means that their social events will not be impacted.

Kappa not "primed" to move into top tier, kappa is top tier. Making a separate tier 3 just for them is ridiculous (and untrue). They're on the same level as chi o, dg and pi phi

Well looks like somebody's in Kappa lol. You wish. I personally agree they're on the same level as Pi Phi, who should be moved down to tier 3. But to say KKG is on par with DG is a joke and a half

so who do you all want in tier 2 then? Tier 2 is what it is because it isn't obviously tier 1. I'd say the first three houses listed (SigChi, Fiji, Lambda) are all clearly up in tier 2 with Delta Sig maybe sliding backk to tier 3

Tier's 1-3 are exactly how they should be, it's tiers 4-5 that start to blend together but when they're that low who really cares anyways?

I disagree I think tiers 1 and 2 are pretty spot on. Theyre all much closer to the tier 1 houses than they are the tier 3 ones. Honestly this is probably the most accurate list Ive seen

phi psi's not what they used to be but yeah beta's too relevant to leave off. good list though
