when does delta zeta come on ?

I'm interested in possibly joining the beginning group of Delta Zeta. I hear different info about how to join them. Does anyone know how it will work? Thanks. Are they coming on next month for sure?

I think their process is going to be similar to what happened when Sigma Kappa joined a couple years ago. They'll be around for the first round of recruitment (leadership day) where they will present information about Delta Zeta. After that, they're not part of the fall recruitment process anymore. If girls want to join DZ, then they'll have to wait until after bids are extended for formal recruitment. Not 100% sure if this is correct information, but it's my best guess.

I think they will do pretty well here. I think they will get into the middle tier pretty quickly. I don't see them ever being top top tier, but I think they will be really strong. We shall see.

It'll take time before they really establish themselves, but if you're up for the ride, building something new is always cool to do!

It would be epic if the school would sell Alder and DZ could buy it. It would be much better Greek, it's stunning and would make a legit sorority row on the block

We're hearing that they will be renting a house at 15th and Kincaid. Superior location near Knight Library, next to Tri Delt and across from Pi Ph. It's a rambling old eyesore (used to be frat then Theta rented it) compared to the beautiful homes around it. Kinda wish they would just tear it down.

But great news for DZ. this will help a ton with recruiting. It's a unique opportunity for PNMS!

Great question. I don't recall any new sorority securing a house in their first year. DZ will have national consultants here for recruitment and to get the chapter up and running. It may depend how many pledges they get. The freshmen will already have on-campus housing requirements. Maybe just upperclass and execs for this year? totally guessing....
