transfer student question

I will be a Junior Tranfer Fall 2017. Is my high school gpa used for recruitment or my transfer gpa? What is the minimum gpa for chapter houses?
I will be joining a sorority if that matters.

Transfer GPA, you haven't been in high school for two years why would they look at those grades

A lot of houses drop you if you don't have a 3.0

They'll use your transfer GPA. Since I rushed as a sophomore, my GPA played a much heaver factor than if I was rushing as freshman. To play safe, I would say that a 3.0 is the minimum GPA you need. It would be hard to get a bid if you have a lower GPA than that.
