Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ Sorority at Hillsdale College - HC 2.9 Kappa has a bit of everything. They have super kind people who are genuinely very nice. They also have incredibly mean and catty people, who unfortunately outshine the nice ones.

Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ Sorority at Hillsdale College - HC 4.0 The girls of this sorority definitely catch a lot of hate that's unwarranted. I know a lot of girls in all houses and for the most part, they are all very accommodating and nice. There are a few outliers of course, but every one has that. The most infamous incident people love to hate on kappa for resulted in the girl disaffiliating. People have negative things or stereotypes about Kappa but often cant pinpoint an exact person or incident besides one or two to back up their point. ( which the same could be said for the other two_ Kappas are involved on campus and somewhat openly favored by some profs and admin. And is for sure the most popular amongst the rushing group. Many many girls pref kappa during rush and do not get in. I watched it happen 3 years in a row with my friend group. Overall I don't think they deserve the vicious hate they get.

Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ Sorority at Hillsdale College - HC 2.4 There are some nice girls in Kappa, but the ones I met before and during recruitment were nothing but fake. They lure you in with their "archatecture' ;s digest" house, but they are catty and don't work well with others. They gossip when they don't think you're looking and are some of the most ingenuine people on campus. Not to mention they have the highest dues/monetary requirements of any of the sororities on campus.

There are nice women in the house, but I think their prioritization of “loveliness” and putting on a front of being perfect is just that - a facade. They do a good job during recruitment because they emotionally manipulate PNMs into feeling special. However, once they pull in women, they really leave a lot of them in the dust, or should I say “the attic”. There are definitely actives that they put out front and center to draw PNMs in, but there are a decent number of women in that house who are unhappy and feel like they got tricked. Again, they are not terrible women, the house is just a little bit toxic in my opinion.
