What's Hot - Hillsdale College - HC

If you want a real sorority with a genuine sisterhood you should look to the other two houses. As someone with friends in all three houses, the Kappas seem to only be concerned with image and appearance where the other two sororities actually have substance. They like to say that they're "Klassy", but I've never really seen that demonstrated by more than a select few. They should be less concerned with how many jerseys they're "friends" with and more concerned with their own sisters.

So much fun! I loved having them as friends! Some of my best memories were with Chi Omegas! With that said, I always felt their recruitment tactics were ignoble. HC girls choose Hillsdale, because they like a challenge. Why would they join a sorority that thinks they can buy their allegiance and sisterly devotion with alcohol and sloppy parties.

It takes a lifetime to build a reputation and a single act to destroy it. I witnessed how a sorority, in just four years, could fall so far. I'd feel more sympathy if the girls weren't so unfriendly and rude. Call it what you will, Pi Phi, but at the end of the day its just plain poor manners that plague your house. If Kappas are the ice princesses of Hillsdale than Pi Phis are the ice queens. Let this be a precautionary note to the other houses.

Although they seem to be very involved, most of them don't come off as being friendly. The house doesn't seem very together. There seems to be a division with two distinct sides. They also give off a vibe as being better than everyone. They seem to bash on the other houses as well. There should be a unity between the 3 houses but they prevent that.

The house is very involved on campus and most of the athletes that go Greek join Chi Omega. They have what seems like a very good sisterhood and they always seem to be having fun together. Also, they seem to be the friendliest to anyone and everyone. The house seems to be the most genuine. What you see is what you get. They don't try to play it off like they're better than you.

The Greek System in the United States as a whole is not the same as what it used to be. The stories aren't the same anymore, and the type of people aren't necessarily the same anymore. The ATO's at Hillsdale have a really great base right now, with a really solid group of brothers and I know they'd like their house to grow! Guys, YOU have the potential to be awesome ATO's too. College is about fun too and with their annex, sand volleyball pit and basketball court, who wouldn't want that?

I think a lot of people for the other houses are self ranking, because I don't see why Kappas are so low in these rankings. From an outsider to the Greek system, it's pretty clear that Kappa is the only respectable sorority. I have always had good experiences with these girls. They have a reputation for being exclusive or bratty which seems to turn a lot of people off, but they're objectively the best house on campus

I have been so impressed coming back to campus and seeing how unified these girls are and how polite they are to everyone they meet. It is refreshing knowing Chi Omega is such a hard-working house, who still love and look out for their sisters like each year before them. The positions they hold on campus are also very admirable. I want my daughter to be a Hillsdale Chi Omega!
