AGD AXO Nicknames?

Literally just curious but why is AGD called “gam” and AXO called “a chi o” when almost every other school calls them “alpha gam” and “alpha chi”?

Most likely because there’s Gamma Phi Betas at other schools that go by Gamma Phi so Alpha Gam can’t be just Gam.

And usually there are several Alpha Sororities at larger so they’ll be: Alpha Chis, Alpha Gams, Alpha Xi, Alpha Omicron etc.

If Sigma Kappa was at HPU, most likely Sigma would only be calling themselves Tri Sigma instead of Sigma which is used some time.
