Hi!
I was on Panhellenic all 4 years at Hpu! My advice to you is to get as involved in as many different clubs as possible that you enjoy! Our sorority women are highly involved all around campus! Also make sure you attend the interest sessions to ask questions about sisterhood, campus involvement, philanthropies or about Greek life in general. Representatives from each sorority will be present. Also the fall is filled with philanthropy events whether its kappa deltas shamrock week for prevent child abuse America, or zta's think pink week for breast cancer awareness and many more events from the other sororities which will be going onalmost every week! Also make sure you check out Greek week! It's one of the most fun parts about being Greek at Hpu! Hope this helps!

Be classy, no matter where you are! You never know who is watching you, seriously. Even if you don't think that anyone is watching, there is almost always someone watching your behavior. That's not a bad or creepy/scary thing and don't stress about it, just don't be sloppy on the weekends (or anytime), and be classy at all times, if you want to attract the right sororities during rush. Be careful also of what you put on social media and on the internet in general. It has a funny way of getting back to the sororities on campus, and we will take negative things that we find out about girls into consideration. Basically, just make smart decisions and be classy, and you'll be fine! Also another little tip-- don't have a messy/unkempt appearance! Look put together most of the time (we all have our off days). If someone tells you that sororities do not judge or at least take into consideration at all your appearance, then they're lying to you. For the classy sororities on campus, that will not be the main factor that we look at, but it is important for us to maintain a good reputation on campus as being polished and well put-together! That doesn't mean that you have to look perfect all the time by any means, but just put some effort in to presenting yourself in the best way possible!

What sororities do most female athletes join?

talk to your coaches if youre on a d1 sports team. some do not let you do both, some do. if they are not okay with it, you might get kicked off the team and lose any athletic scholarships you received so be very careful. if you are allowed though, i definitely recommend going into recruitment with an open mind! I know a bunch of athlete who juggle both and are very happy :)
