what are the real sorority rankings here?
by: HaylieWhat are the real sorority rankings here? Top tier? Mid Tier? Bottom Tier?

honestly there's no REAL rankings since every single person at this school will rank the sororities differently and based on different standards. judging by what people who are going through recruitment each year talk about, the general stereotypical order that people talk about is
top: ZTA, KD
mid: AGD, SSS
bottom: AXO, PM
BUT that doesn't mean that that's what your ranking will be. every single sorority has something great about them, and every single one also has their downfalls. it's personal preference which girls you get along with the best and which sisterhood you rank the highest.

Let's actually be honest... Sigmas (for the most part) are sweet and genuine girls, who are classy and fun to be around. KD is as well. I've noticed that Sigmas and KDs support each other a lot (in philanthropy events, etc.) AGD is nice, but the party too much and too hard, and they haze too much. ZTA are just completely rude and judgmental. Really fake. AXO is really new, but they're trying to move up. Having some difficulties, but they'll probably make it eventually. PM is just kind of odd, the girls are for the most part super nice, but they can just be a little off sometimes.

Every girl who rushes is different, and has a different idea in mind of what she is looking for in a sorority. There are amazing aspects to each chapter on our campus, and it's best to go with the house that is ideal for you. You will have opportunities to lead, to make lifelong friendships, to go out and have a good time, and to give back no matter what sorority you're in. There are top-tier qualities in every single sorority, and you should choose the house where you feel is most comfortable for YOU.
Do stereotypes exist? Yes. It would be stupid not to acknowledge them. Nevertheless, that shouldn't be a deciding factor when you're choosing. In 4 years, if you've enjoyed your Greek experience, it isn't going to matter if a few people speculated about the "tier" of the sorority you're in. You get what you put into it; if you are an active member of your organization, you will reap all the benefits that Greek life has to offer, whichever letters you wear around campus.
