It depends on your version of "best". Every sorority feels like they get the best girls because every sorority is different and they recruit differently.
As far as rentention in between FFR rounds, usually the most competitive sororities are APhi, ZTA, and Pi Phi. KD will probably be competitive as well but I think it might take them a few semesters to fully identify who they are as a sisterhood.

alpha phi usually gets the stereotypical sorority girls
pi phi usually gets the smart, low key, easy to talk to girls
zeta tau alpha usually gets the sporty, outgoing, like to party girls
alpha xi delta usually gets the combination of all three above due to most are dropped by other sororities
delta zeta usually gets the lower end of the pickings

Alpha Phi will probably be number one with Zeta Tau Alpha following. For third it's a throw up between Pi Beta Phi and Alpha Xi Delta because even though PiPhi has always been good, in recent pledges class they have been falling in ranks and AXiD has been working very hard. Delta Zeta has been working very hard but will probably be last. Kappa Delta is too new to judge and this year will definitely determine their standing.
