These girls are “popular” because they are all hot. If your stuck on being in a sorority based off looks than this is the chapter for you. If your looking for a overall top tier sorority look at ZTA. They are better in every way

As a transfer sophomore to ODU I was excited to get involved with Greek life this year. I did my best to research and look into all the different sororities at ODU. I narrowed my list to Alpha Phi, Pi Phi and AXID. After Trying and Trying and Trying to talk to and meet a few Alpha Phi sisters I’ve given up! I’m not sure why these girls are so unapproachable but it’s truly like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The funny thing is almost everyone ive told that I’m signed up for FFR almost every single person says I “Look” like an Alpha Phi, dear god I guess I need to change up my “look” Bc let’s just say I’m not taking that as a compliment! Pretty is as Pretty does girls!

tbh been on a down fall ever since fall 2016, girls arnt as good looking anymore. dirty rush horrible it makez me sad. also their recruitment video was really short and where was their philanthropy? or the rest of their chapter? why was a girl practicing nursing in the library? why didnt it say anything about going greek or ODU? I really dont get it. their own alum even said something on social media ab it. poor girls

LOL! The video literally is hysterical! First there’s a random dancer, then it zooms in on three girls, One girl we’ve seen at EVERYTHING and in EVERY picture. They must think she’s pretty Bc she definitely wasn’t very friendly! They look 40 not 18-22 normal college age. The video goes on to what tries to be “studying” in the library. Then next thing you know a few girls are getting into two jeeps driving around for a second then to a house with a bouncy house. That’s it! How does a freshman girl (like us) relate to this? We don’t get the message?

They are popular because they are pretty and party a lot. They do get negative comments made about them because of jealous people but these girls are horrible I only like one Alpha Phi and she hates being in it because her sisters are mean to her and I have seen it first hand. They sleep with all the same guys and even each other's boyfriends and None of them respect anyone Their recruitment process is fake. the organizers only use their friends at their big events and ignore their sisters they don't talk to. Why do you think you only see the same 5 girls in their pictures, recruitment video, and other events? I overheard an alpha phi complaining about how left out she feels and how tired she is of her sisters and recruitment They also think everything is about them and that people only dont like them because they are "so pretty" you ladies are something else. If you dont want your boyfriend taken from you and to be bullied for 4 years dont join them. join another club

I'm kinda disappointed hearing all the rumors about them but then experiencing it first hand. They are so mean to each other if my mother heard what was coming out of their mouths she would be disgusted as much as I was. Stop bashing other sororities, all you do is post about going greek without that mindset!

The way they treat each other is degrading. Everything is a popularity contest within their sisterhood. I have a few close friends in Alpha Phi and hearing how they only focus on certain sisters and exclude ones that they are not friends with is sad. Most of them don’t even want to be in it anymore and seeing how my friends are treated because they are not part of the “in crowd” IN THEIR OWN SORORITY is sad. If you are thinking alpha phi you should read some of this advice and take it seriously because yes they are pretty and fun but everything they do for recruitment is an act and after recruitment they will go back to being fake.
