There are more fraternities than sororities, but each sorority has more members. PHC on campus blows and tries to control everything. Lots of events held between sororities and fraternities, but sororities need to get better at hanging out with each other. Sucks we cant have housing, but overall I love being greek at ODU.

This is a small university without the luxuries of typical greek like. PHC makes rules so strict that being in greek life isn't as fun. And theres hardly any "greek unity" here. The chapters are so mean to each other and pick on the smaller, newer chapters. ODU greek life consists of people bashing each other anonymously on this site and being jerks to each other in person. a couple of the frats refused to have socials with one of the sororities until they "get prettier girls". the sororities dirty rush and bully each other on the bid day field. its mean girls: college version

Overall ODU is a medium sized University with a medium sized Greek life. The frats are more diverse than the sororities. They are also more involved with club sports. The Sororities aren't as diverse and are more into their philanthropies. The two overall most sought after frats are Pike & Theta Chi. The overall most sought after sororities are ZTA & APhi. Both sororities are equally passionate about their philanthropy and are the frats top choice for looks. ZTA seems to have it pulled together a bit more but APhi has more sweethearts. ODU has changed from the years back being called Ole' Dirty to an updated campus with a fun beach feel. Keep up the positive movement!

greek life has had a very positive influence in the community. Wish it was bigger though
