sigma kappa

Sigma Kappa is bringing Greek Life and its reputation down. Their drop rate is doubled (or more!) that of the average BGSU sorority according to the Greek Report. Their sisters are nasty and can barely hold a conversation outside of Greek topics. They didn't win any Greek Awards because they're not well rounded like other sororities.
Sorority life is meant to cultivate the woman and help her to grow in community, academic, and social aspects. I feel like SK offers none of this, which is why so many drop.
Every conversation I've had with a sigma kappa is a struggle. First, they always make sure that you know that they're in Signa Kappa. Then, they talk about their big and little as if you know them. They also name drop as much as they can and talk about Lilly Pulitzer more than I can even count.
They have some sort of feud with PiKapp because of a personal issue between two individuals. Defending a sister is okay, but the offensive that they have taken is ridiculous and only makes them look bad.
It's embarrassing. I'm not sure why they are still on campus.
Girls - don't rush SigKap. You'll only drop within a few weeks anyway.

Sigma Kappa is very involved. They are at most Greek life functions. However, SK does need to improve grades and improve socially. But BG's recruitment system leaves very little room for chapters to improve. With PNM's "guaranteed" a bid almos, the bottom girls continually end up in SK, even if SK didn't want them.

I agree that it's difficult to have a non-Greek related conversation with a SK. The one that works at Starbucks is always spewing something Greek to her fellow baristas.
I think that they fell like this because Gamma Phi Beta isn't around to pick up the bottom girls tbh.
