Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority Ratings at BGSU

I love this sorority and I'm so glad I joined! All the girls are so nice and inclusive! The rush was smooth and was well organized!

This chapter did a pretty good job with recruiting girls this year. Even though they are known to be very smart I see quite a few girls out at parties and socializing. The girls are very kind and friendly. I know that in the past they have not had the best reputation but I feel as if they taking good steps and are making changes to change the way people view them.

This soriorty is often at Greek life events and can be heard talking bad about sisters or events within their chapter. Their sisterhood seems completely fake and girls are often complaining about leadership and how strict the rules are. They do seem to be involved and care about grades which is good but a lot of their girls are very standoff ish to those outside of their chapter

They aren’t the best in Recruitment because they are known to be odd. Known to be “nice” but honestly they are just known to be smart.

They are super kind girls but just not as popular as some of the other sororities. All of them are super involved and almost always have a place on Panhellenic executive board.

chi o is just irrelevant. they’ve been irrelevant even when I went to bg. they are known to be smart but I have never seen them out partying really or maybe it’s because we don’t go to the same parties. yikes

I really liked chi o until they were extremely rude and entitled to me and my friends at a party. They have such big egos for being bottom tier.

Chi O is great overall. They’re like DZ, KD, and AOPi. / Pros: Smart. Awesome involvement on campus. Very into their Make a Wish philanthropy which is amazing. Genuine. They choose girls for the right reasons. Kind. Friendly to other chapter. Strong sisterhood. / Cons: They are too selective about GPA. They aren’t as popular of a choice (unfortunately). / They are a bit underrated but still top tier. Great sisterhood and involvement!

This sorority will preach all of their values and how strong their sisterhood is during recruitment, but in reality it is horrible. You pay hundreds of dollars to do nothing. The girls are very rude and are bullies and do not care about other members in the chapter. you can’t do anything without getting into trouble because the advisors run the whole chapter. It is not a fun organization and is not worth your time or money.

This sorority is so inclusive!! Every girl I’ve met genuinely wants to be kind and friendly towards others. They’re such beautiful souls and intelligent women. I know that Chi I’d will be such successful women!
