getting the record straight
by: FellowgreekI just want to set the record straight about these Kappa Sig guys. One they were suspended in 2014 for 4 years guess what its 2018 so their suspension is up and they are ready to make a push to return to campus. IFC is just giving them a hard time. Therefore they arent going rogue. I know some of the guys and they are really chill guys who make you feel welcome. They aren't the same group of guys who had the fight club 4 years ago and this coming school year they are going to prove it mark my words. I honestly see these guys being in the top tier in the next 5 years. Rumors are they already have close to 55+ guys more than PIKE had when they got their charter. Funny to say they have more guys than 70% of other fraternities on campus. Besides Sig Chi & D Chi Kappa Sig is a fraternity that should be considered when rushing.

You know how they have 55+ guys? Their dues are 80$. Why? Because they can't do anything. It's not as simple as 4 years your back. Its 4 years then reapply like every other fraternity has done. Because of the disrespect most likely their suspension will be extended. Have fun promoting a dead group. :)

IFC already ruled on the case. They're not coming back. I'm guessing that founding fee is to their national organization which has no authority at NAU.

Actually the dues are not $80 around $300 (the average nation wide amount for Kappa Sigma). They are new to campus but have full support of headquarters and alumni.

What are the proper channels then. They went to the Frat HQ got approval by them to consider a recharter. Next they must create a interest group of 30 + memebers which they did so HQ gave them a colony title. Now they must go through IFC to get recognized on campus which they are still doing. They are going through the proper process but because they are getting alot of attention its becoming a so called problem. Your just a kid who either got dropped by them or have something against them aka a PIKE cause they stole your guys thunder.

You must notbe in greek life i am guessing. They formed an interest group then requested a recharter to the IFC which is still a pending decision. Also they only have paid a founding fee which i am assuming is way lower than you say. Let me ask you where did you here they pay 80 lol
