rushing// sorority opinions
by: Rushing!!I’m rushing in the fall and I’m really excited. I don’t really know anything about sororities besides what my sister has said about them (she’s in one at UNT already) and I’ve heard PiPhi’s are party girls, ADPi is mostly last resort, DG is kinda weird nerds, Chi O is like hippie girls, kappa is Christian Dorky girls, Aphi is just mean Instagram model girls, KD is wanna be Aphi and Zeta is a reject too but not as bad as ADPi and they recruit a lot of diverse girls because they got in trouble for dropping a girl just for her race one year? I don’t know. This all seems pretty bias to me and probably any body who posts here will be bias but if you had to describe each one in one or two words...what would you say?

Your sister sounds like she’s not in Greek Life if that’s what she’s hearing. The Zeta thing is just blatantly untrue and the rest are just general stereotypes that only fit if you force them to. Wish you the best in recruitment but I would lighten up on the judgement if I was you

DG—correct
Pi Phi—lots of party girls, not all. Some weird.
KD—never met one who would want to be APhi
Kappa—some really Christian, some really party
ChiO—some hippie, some chic, some studious
Zeta—hazing was not racial, on the way back
ADPi—lots of them choose ADPi, no shame there
