transferring to a sorority at unt

by:

Hi! I'm transferring to UNT from tech in the fall and I am in a sorority there. I want to affiliate with the UNT chapter, but I heard they are really weird. Is it worth it to affiliate?

You should try it out. Go out to eat with a few members or go to an event of theirs to meet them

Don't do it they sorority Greek life compared here to tech is was off. Top here is kapp and Aphi but if they went to tech half of them would be in a middle tier sorority. Wast of time

I would contact the chapter and see if you like them! Tech's greek life is very different from UNT but I know girls who have transferred from Tech, Uark, A&M, etc that affiliated at UNT and love it! Keep in mind that most chapters also have to vote you in & most understand if you don't fit well together. At the end of the day the chapter was founded on the same principles and each chapter has those in common.

I love UNT Greek life. Smaller chapters than Big 12/SEC mean that you know everyone in your sorority and have closer pledge classes. We have more flexibility to plan fun outings because we don't have to accommodate 400 girls. Plus, UNT has a cool arty vibe. Greek life is friendly and chill. I have made far more friends in my sorority here than my sister did at OU. Try it!
