The "Sweethearts" are a group of students (all girls) who support UNT in athletic and other events around campus. Much like a sorority but not a Greek sisterhood that is known around the nation. Very great group of girls and very involved in intramurals, tailgating and even have date parties and formal events.

The sweethearts are not a sorority they are a community service/ spirit team group! About the party scene, I am originally from Texas, i went to the west coast for the first semester of my freshman year then quickly transferred back to Texas. In the south sororities do not openly party ( that does not mean they don't, they just don't take pictures of it ) they try to stay class and keep up a good appearance. In the west no one cares they party in the open and they don't care too much about their reputation. I love to party, but the fact that my ex-sisters acted like animals without any graces or maturity at all, forced me to drop and come home to the AMAZING comforts of the South! :)

Funny about sorority girls in the South not openly partying. Every sorority girl I know has pictures of themselves partying all over the place, they do generally have the good sense to try not to have alcohol in the pictures I guess.
