letters of recommendation

I plan on rushing this fall, and I was wondering if not having letters of rec. for a house will hurt my chances of getting a bid from them.

Having a letter of recommendation will never hurt your chances for a house but not having won't hurt you either. It gives the chapter an idea of who you and you have a good name going through recruitment!
