sorority cost

none of the sororities actually list how much they each cost and that actually does affect my decision for one so I was worried if anyone could tell me an estimate of how much it cost a new member to join? I know each chapter is different but I'm really interested in ZTA, Kappa and KD

I've heard that costs for new members is 1500 for first semester then drops to 1200-1000. They'll also work with you if you need financial help.

This is really really general by the way. Those are averages. I've heard that Kappa is the most expensive though

i really wish each chapter would list their fees on the website like most schools do. I guess we'll find out later on

If I'm not mistaken, you will receieve an informational packet during the mandatory informational orientation you attend in August that explains all the costs and fees, but I believe you can contact the chapters themselves to ask for details now.

Yes, Kappa is the most expensive at UNT.

Is it crazy expensive or was it manageable? I know they'll tell us once recruitment starts but I wasn't sure how much I should be saving

The only sorority I know of that is up front about their dues is Chi O. They bring out a sheet during recruitment and list what the dues are and where they go.
