I’m not in a sorority but I’m wanting to rush this year as a sophomore and know a lot of girls in sororities. I’ve heard a lot about chi o and I’ve heard very mixed opinions about them. I’ve had a few in my classes and they were really sweet girls but I’ve heard that they tend to get sloppy drunk and some are just straight up mean. I guess you would find this mixture within each sorority but I’ve been told to stay away from them.

People are hating on their fall 17 pc but they won new member excellence at greek awards so obviously those claims are not true. They also won Excellence of Standards which there is only one rewarded to ALL of greek life, all councils included, which shows they keep their ladies accountable for their actions. They ALSO won Excellence in Service which shows their involvement in the community compared to the other sororities on campus. Chi O won Chapter of the year for a reason, people can be fueled by jealousy, so if you're rushing this year focus on your own opinions of the chapters and you will find the place where you were meant to be.

Before I went through recruitment I saw some of the girls at a party and they made a fool of themselves. I still gave them a try because why not, but I was very dissapointed to see that the 3 days I went to their house during recruitment they did not proved me wrong. I had hope on yalls chapter but y’all are just going downhill from here. They also act like they’re the best sorority when they are just a bunch of drama queens.
