college bars
by: HeyyyyI’m gonna be visiting the area soon with some of my sorority sisters. Are there any college bars around there that we can go to??

Most bars in Jax are not gonna let you in if you’re not 21. If you’re of age definitely go to the beach bars (Surfer, Ritz, Lynch’s, etc.). That’s where the college crowd is. You might be able to get away with the Riverside bars if you’re under 21 but there’s not much of a college crowd there. Jacksonville nightlife isn’t the greatest.

Yes, the beach bars are pretty strict on fakes - especially on weekends. Unless it’s your sister’s ID that looks just like you, there’s a good chance of having it taken away. Riverside bars are kinda touch and go with fakes, try it if it’s a good one and you’re confident. Myth nightclub is the same as the Riverside bars.
And lmao Jacksonville isn’t that fun, people under 21 just go to parties instead of bars, or pregame before going to the very few places that allow you inside if you’re under 21. A lot of kids from UNF just go out of town (Tally, Orlando, etc) for a weekend if they want to go to college bars/clubs.
