You will have to wait until fall. Get to know different girls in the chapter. Give them more than one day. Dropping now or dropping before initiation, the results are the same..wait a year before eushing again. See what they have to offer before cutting yourself oit of the Panhellenic system for at least one year.

Not sure how rules work: Maybe you could look at joining Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, Gamma Eta, Sigma Lambda Gamma, Zeta Phi Beta. They belong to other Greek councils (National Pan-Hellenic and Multicultural Greek).

How do you know if you feel at home in one day? Talk to MANY different sisters, attend chapter and Panhellenic functions and get to KNOW people. Recruitment is kinda like speed dating. Sororities have to rank people just as you ranked them. You did not rank high enough with your "desired" sororities and were cut from their lists. Did you talk to your Rho Gammas about feeling awkward? Who put pressure on you: yourself, your family, your friends? Did you attend sessions at orientation and even ask questions about the process? You are on GreekRank asking questions now, you could have asked questions on here before hand. You could have asked questions on the UNF Panhellenic Facebook page or sent questions to panhellenic officer email addresses. There were plenty of opportunities for you to learn what to expect. Sounds like you think the process was all about you and not about the sororities choosing who would fit best in their chapter and help them make the biggest impact, difference, fill in the missing pieces.

You can rush in spring cause you weren't initiated yet

Going through recruitment neither assures that you will receive a bid, nor does it obligate you to join a sorority. If you attend the preference events & decide not to join a sorority, you must still attend the MRABA card signing and sign your name on a card, even though no preference is listed. In this case, you will immediately be eligible for an open bid, which may be extended once Formal Recruitment period is over. At the same time, if you list preferences and do not receive a bid from the sororities you list, you will immediately be eligible for an open bid.

1. I am willing to accept an invitation to membership from any women’s sorority that I list on this agreement.
2. I may limit my choices to just one OR list any women’s sorority whose preference round (last) event I attended, and from
which I am willing to accept membership. I realize that by not listing the maximum number of events I attended, I may be limiting
my potential to join any other NPC group during formal recruitment should I not be place with my choice(s).
3. Once I submit this agreement to the College Panhellenic Association, I cannot change the order of my preferences or add
or delete a preference.
4. If I do not receive an invitation to membership from a group that I have listed, I am eligible for continuous open bidding.
5. I have the option of not submitting an agreement at this time.
6. Once I submit this agreement, I am bound by the National Panhellenic Conference one-calendar year rule. This rule
states that if I receive an invitation to membership from a group that I have listed and then do not accept it, I am not eligible to be
pledged to any other NPC member sorority on this campus for one calendar year (12 month period) from the time of this signing.

Nope, once you are initiated into an NPC sorority you can never join another NPC sorority. If you signed the card stating that you accepted a bid, was offered a bid but you declined the bid (does not matter if it was before or after "running home") you have to wait ONE year. Those are National Panhellenic rules that the University of North Florida Panhellenic Council agrees to and abides by.

The MRABA is Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement (MRABA) card (aka “bid card”).

Most girls who drop one sorority at UNF do not end up joining sororities. If having the sisterhood is important to you, see if you can find it in Kappa Alpha Theta between now and initiation. Talk to the officers and pledge trainer/mom (whatever Theta calls the person who works with new members/pledges) and let them know what you feel AND why. If you still are connecting with anyone and want to drop, drop and go through recruitment again next fall. Since you have accepted a bid, you have a one year wait before exploring a sorority again. If you do drop, be classy and do the honorable thing and return EVERYTHING you were given at bid day, everything you might be given between now and then with their letters and symbols, AND anything you might have bought or been gifted by friends and family after you accepted the bid.
