pnm's stay away
by: UNFGreekI just wanted to make a post to all of the PNM's rushing this Fall semester. Please, PLEASE do not take this site seriously. Every now and then you'll find nice posts but the majority of the time it's people bashing one another because they have nothing better to do. If you're rushing and you really want to get to know these organizations you just need to go out and meet each chapter. Determine how you feel about them for yourselves and you'll be so much better off, I promise!!

Yeah literally all Greek Rank is, is a college version of Gossip Girl. Twisted stories that manipulative people write in order to make everyone look bad! Go into formal recruitment open minded, because whomever you visit on pref night is where you will find your home and where you truly fit in. Don't listen to stereotypes.

During recruitment you will talk to between 1-4 ladies at each chapter each round. You will be given a folder with costs of membership in each organization and what it covers: some include t-shirts, some don't; some include socials and formals while others do not. Each round you will spend a little more time with the chapters from whom you have received invitations and learn a little more about them. From those conversations each day, you will rank the sororities. They will also be doing the same. The first day you visit all 6 sororities, the second day you may visit between 1-4 chapters and for preference night you may visit between 1-2 (I think). PLEASE if you happen to be cut from chapters you "really" wanted and invited back to others, do NOT drop out of recruitment. Listen to what the chapters have to offer and think about what YOU can offer them. Stick with the process to the end as we would love to see you become a North Florida Greek and find a home with one of our six chapters. Quota numbers are based on the number of girls who attend preference parties so you are helping increase quota numbers (and increasing your chances of becoming a member of one of our awesome sororities) by continuing the recruitment process to the end. Our Rho Gammas are trained to listen to you, be a shoulder to cry on, and help you consider all your options. The formal recruitment process only occurs once a year and not every chapter has "informal" or "open" recruitment.
