They used to have cool guys. Now they are a lot weirder. The only thing keeping this house relevant is it’s 2012 legacy.

Yikes. That is all that is needed. I'd keep looking if I were a freshman wanting to go greek. More of a club than a frat.

You arrive at college looking to become a frat star, as you were a dweeb in high school. You get invited to a fraternity that looks nice on the outside, you go. You take one of the firsts sips of beer, in your life, and are asked to wait in line to meet the President. You go into a study room after 3 others walk out. As you walk in you hear Kappa Sigmas cat calling their next door sorority outside, they laugh afterwords and tell each other how cool that just was.You are given a bid your, on your first day, at this fraternity. Even though you haven’t been to any others. “Do you accept?”. Yes you do. Mostly because you feel special. Little do you know, they gave 60 other bids out earlier that night. A little while passes and you learn Kappa Sigma is full of guys who were nerds in high school and believe that laughable things are cool. They roll around in wheelchairs they took from the local Walmart, thinking that makes them alpha. When you soon realize you are stuck at a fraternity that the whole rest of campus thinks is a laughing stock. At a party, you take a step into your fourth full basement, look at the pretty, hefty girl flirting with one of your super cool djs. and ask yourself: “why did I join Kappa Sigma?”. All my brothers are weird and the attractive girls go elsewhere. Numbers do not create top houses my friend. Don’t just rush Kappa Sigma, unless you were weird in high school and fit in, you will probably regret it.

Alpha Chi Omega's are super nice and outgoing if you get a chance to meet one. Their philanthropy is really special to them and they have a really cool event for it called Mock Rock. Don't under estimate this sorority because they are really chill and nice people. They had a little trouble with retention last year but so does every sorority right? Not many issues with the sisterhood. Their recruitment game is strong and bid promising happens but I haven't heard any issues from it. These girls are usually seen at SAE, which has a huge party rep. Pretty diverse house and all-in-all a good house to consider when rushing.

They are really only interested in a certain "type" of people, but some can be really nice. They promise bids to a lot of girls that don't actually get in, so be careful.

The women of Kappa Delta have really come a long way from being a new chapter in 2014. Their pledge classes are becoming more and more competitive each year and they are getting a brand new house. They had a 100% retention rate last semester with their latest pledge class, which is very impressive. They have a strong sisterhood, are very diverse, and are strongly involved around campus and philanthropy events. They love to go out together usually to Beta, Kappa Sig, or SAE, but also have one of the highest GPA's in Greek Life. Kappa Delta also hosts an annual Chick-Fil-A feed for their philanthropy. Watch out guys, this sorority is on the rise.
