rushing a chapter

At OU are the rushing events well advertised? I'm really interested in joining when I'm a freshman next fall, but I'm worried that I'm going to miss something like house tours, information sessions, meetings, etc... I'm from a college town and here to be involved in greek life, fraternity wise, you have to know someone (which I think is stupid and not inclusive at all). I know having connections helps but it shouldn't be the only way to get into a chapter.

Check out the OU Greek Life twitter accounts! They are always posting when different events are happening, including recruitment.

They are also all at the involvement fair in the start of the year

I came to OU knowing no one but still knew all about formal. I was personally sent things in the mail, was at the involvement fair, and they even said a few words during freshman convocation. If it is something you want to do you will find out when it is. It is just a few weeks into school so keep an eye out. The panhellenic website has all the information.
