frat bids

If you didnt get a bid from your 1st choice frat is it acceptable to ask some of the brothers if there is any chance they would still give one? Sigma Pi was my top choice but I dont know if there was a mistake or what because I got along well them. Suggestions?

The same thing happened to me. I am just going to trust the process. I am sure there are plenty of other frats that would love to have you and will also be a great fit for you.

If you didn't get a bid from them it means THEY felt that you weren't a good fit for them. It is mutual not only up to you. Absolutely don't reach out. Try again next semester or give a different fraternity a shot

Don't say. Just don't . Sounds like you don't want to take the chance of someone knowing they weren't your real choice. It also sounds like you won't be happy in another frat though. I hope if you take another bid you find the house that you fit with best! Good luck

I’m in a sorority and I 100% doubt it was not a computer error lol. Sure that Kay happen during our process but there’s way less guys going through rush and they usually tend to catch it if they really like you. Just face it dude, you aren’t a sig pi

Also fraternity's give out a lot less bids than sororitys. Maybe 20 or so, they would know if it was an error. Sorry guy. Hope you made the best decision for yourself. There are other good frats . Amd you don't want to be a part of one that didn't want you. Sorry if that sounds harsh but it's fact.
