by: Sober bobcatI don't drink or like being around alcohol really and am going through rush. I'm wondering who I should stay away from or who to join. I asked my rho chis and they wouldn't tell me who parties he most. I've heard alpha xi delta parties a lot but I'm not sure about the other houses. I really want my house to not judge me if I don't go out, do mostly sisterhood activities, and not have my sorority sisters party every day

With each house having over +100 girls, i know that you will be able to find the ones in the house that you choose that do not party. Alpha Xi might be known for partying but that does not mean you are going to be looked down on or excluded from their sisterhood because of that. Do not let stereotypes dictate your decision. Go with your heart and TRUST THE PROCESS.

I went through recruitment last year and found out that in practically every sorority you need to drink and have a fake ID to make friends and dont get me started on "blackout monday". As someone who has been through it before, you can still go through and see if you can find a diamond in the rough, but I wouldn't expect much.

I can personally say I've known plenty of girls in my own chapter who are more focused on other things besides drinking and we love them just the same. They still go out with us sometimes and we stay in with them for movies nights, study nights and all kinds of things. Were there to support our sisters.
