fraternity tiers

To all the guys rushing out there. Currently I'm a guy in what many consider a lower tier fraternity, but I absolutely love it. My freshman year I was kinda bummed to find out that we were considered bottom tier, I didn't really know who was who my freshman year. I just joined the fraternity based on the guys, but soon became very concerned about the way other people thought of us. then after a year I realized that it's not about what tier your fraternity is in. What's the point of joining a top tier fraternity if you hate your brothers? If you're joining a fraternity based on what tier it is, then you're just another shallow person who is ruining Greek life. I also know a bunch of people who left their fraternity because that's the reason they joined. Whether it is top tier or bottom tier, don't choose a fraternity because other people like them, choose a fraternity because you like them.
