sorority housing requirements

Depends. If you have a medical issue or disability that prevents you from living in the house, you can apply to get out of it. Also, most houses usually fit 30-40 girls and sometimes pledge classes are bigger than that. (This was the case last year.) In a situation like that, you have more leeway to choose to live in the house or not. But sororities are expected to fill them up since they're obviously expensive to maintain, so expect to be required to live in the house unless there is some kind of extenuating circumstance.
