top frats
by: Lebron JamesI will be transferring to ncsu in the fall and I don't know anybody in a fraternity or how greek life is there. In all honesty which frats are top tier, middle tier. also who is on probation defiantly not trying to join someone on social probation

ofc people will always have bias but I tried to make this as honest and as unbias as possible. Broken into what I believe most would agree to as the "tiers" and in no specific order are the fraternities listed, after broken into tiers:
Top:
Delta sigma phi (Univ Probation: Alcohol Violation, PRR)
Sigma chi (good, not in trouble frat)
Zeta Psi- (not actually recognized, cant tailgate, they recruit a special breed, but are still considered top tier quality wise, party with dsig. Not my kind of frat but some like it)
Mid
Sigma Pi (Univ.Probation: Alcohol,PRR, Failure to Comply)(Moving next to Chi O)
Kappa Alpha Order (also in trouble?)
Lambda Chi Alpha (good, not in trouble frat)
Sigma Nu (depending on next fall might move them up)
Kappa Sigma (moving into pkps house)(good, not in trouble frat)
Phi Delta Theta (good, not in trouble frat)
Literally the rest suck... CURRENTLY the only fraternities genuinely worth your time and money are the 8 listed above.
lower mid
Sigma Alpha Epsilon (moving into ATOs house, good not in trouble frat)
Sigma Phi Epsilon (moving into the old AGR house (decent not in trouble frat)
Phi Gamma Delta (Probation & Alcohol Restriction: Alcohol Violation)
Bottom
Alpha Tau Omega (Suspended Pending Investigation)
Alpha Gamma Rho
Alpha Sigma Phi (colony)
Beta Theta Pi (pretty big fraternity theyll probably rise off sheer size alone)
Chi Psi
Delta Upsilon
Farm House
Pi Lambda Phi
Tau Kappa Epsilon
Kicked off:
PKP
DKE
Theta Chi
PIKE

(no im not in zeta psi), but ask any girl about zeta psi and trust me a lot of girls in good sororities such as dz dg and sigma kappa like zeta psi and consider them to be more fun than a lot of "mid tier" fraternities so check your facts bud

Delta sig and zeta psi have always been close for some reason. Zeta Psi's older guys are cool, but their younger guys are super sketchy and they all seem like they have a screw loose.
