Hey I'm thinking about joining a sorority next year and was looking on the websites for the cost. The only sorority that I saw that released their dues was DG. I believe it was around 800 a semester. Is that about how much all the sororities dues are. I want to rush but and those dues sound reasonable but I would like to know more of the dues. Anyone know the average dues?

I would estimate maybe like 2k a semester. This may be high for some sororities, but it's better to be prepared for the high end in case you end up in a more expensive house.

Pi Phi and Theta are the cheapest as of now (Theta gets a new house in the next few years and that could change i guess). DZ and DG are going to be about the same ballpark. KD and ZTA are expensive because of the mansions. You're looking at anything from $800 at the low end to over $2,000 on the highend.

My roommate is in KD, and their dues aren't any more expensive than average because of their new house. Their dues have always been the same.

Keep in mind the first year is the most expensive because of new member fees

download the NC State Guides app. The sorority recruitment guide lists each of their dues for first and second semester.

DZ and ZTA are the most expensive because they are the best sororities. Pi Phi and Theta are the cheapest because they suck. Everyones dues basically go up every year because of the new housing.

This is so wrong because the costlier sororities don't have enough members to support their chapter, so they become more expensive

Truly ridiculous. This sort of thing doesn't help your chapter. In fact, it makes you look exactly like what the current reviews are portraying. Clean your act up, ladies.

NEVER choose a sorority based on cost. Choose where you feel at home. They're all within a couple hundred dollars of each other anyways

Hey download the guidebook app and it lists all dues for each semester for all sororities

a lot of the sororities also have hidden costs that aren't listed, i would try to figure those out too
