do any of the sororities have any big red flags
by: Red flagsI'm hoping to rush this fall and I'm pretty nervous just bc im not sure what to expect and im not very into the whole Greek life scene and don't really know many girls in orgs. Is there anything I should know besides dirty rushing to keep in mind. I've been told both way on ranks and some houses looking better then they actually are but I'm not sure if there is anything else worthy of knowing. If anyone has any advice or something to keep in mind that would be great.

if you’re unsure about rush there’s also two associate sororities in panhellenic, alpha omega epsilon and phi sigma rho. they have separate recruitment from the other panhellenic sororities but are still part of greek life. they’re a bit smaller and both are stem oriented. phi sigma rho only allows specific majors whereas aoe allows any major as long as you’re interested in stem. aoe is bigger and has more legacy at nc state, phi sigma rho is a lot smaller and brand new. both are options if you want a greek life experience without being fully in greek life

Couldn't disagree more, just because your not big into it and didn't plan to rush or anything doesn't mean you can't and shouldn't. I think joining one can open you up to so many different experiences and get u into something you never would have otherwise.
