What makes a fraternity/sorority “top tier” ?

What makes a certain fraternity or sorority top tier on campus ? What’s the basis for all these rankings I keep seeing ???

Ultimately a very subjective question
imo
sorority - cute girls that aren't pretentious or bland
fraternity - dudes who know how to throw a party and don't have too many douches or greaseballs, there will always be a few.

Traditional ranking are toxic. SigEp tends to attract the kind of guy who wants more than a drinking club out of his fraternity. Students go to college to develop personally and professionally. Some other fraternities have facilities that house brothers in environments that harm rather than help those goals by forcing brothers to go elsewhere to study during parties. But SigEp's substance-free facility provides a very conducive environment for doing what students go to college to do.

Every fraternity has its pros and cons. Do not expect a fraternity to be perfect when going thru the rush process. Go with your gut feeling when deciding
