tke and chi psi at ncsu

Hey Guys (and Girls),

I'm an incoming freshman. My dad was a TKE and my older brother is a Chi Psi but neither went to State. So, I was curious about these houses? Do they have good parties and mix with good sororities? How hard is it to get a bid if you don't know anyne? Thanks.

both these fraternities are bottom tier. don't waste your time.

I'm a legacy myself, and quite a few guys in my fraternity had older brothers/parents in fraternities. Some of them were the same fraternity, some weren't. I'd say you should find the fit that's right for you. Remember that every chapter at every school is going to be different. Check both of them out and see what each has to offer. If that's not what you're looking for, look elsewhere. I'd agree with FratGod about contacting their rush chairs. Each will probably make an effort to show you what they're really about.

Whatever people say on here, good or bad, check them out for yourself and make that decision after first-hand experience. You won't be tied down to either if you don't like them.

TKE is not the greatest here, I rushed them and the brothers didn't seem to be too friendly. but you should still look into them. Chi Psi is a smaller fraternity with a great brotherhood. Their current pledge class is the biggest they've had and they have a lot of events with PiPhi and DG (which is one of the best looking sororities on campus).
